Early Biography:

Ramachandran was born on 8 October 1922 in a Tamil Brahmin household within the metropolis of Ernakulam, Kerala, India. He accomplished B.Sc. Honors in Physics from St. Joseph’s Faculty, Tiruchirappalli in 1939. He took admission within the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore within the Division of Electrical Engineering in 1942.
